Victoria is an admirable thought leader and a blessing to us all especially within the ACCA community. Victoria is an embodiment of selflessness, brilliance, uniqueness and energy. The ACCA Women Network’s Nigeria (ACCAWNN) which Victoria founded a few weeks prior to the pandemic lock down is one of our greatest gifts for 2020. She successfully pooled together a community of dynamic and excellent oriented women with a well-defined purpose. Her leadership trait is out of the world, I keep wondering how she’s able to pull all together. Did I forget to mention is a fashionista, always looking classy at all times. I am extremely grateful to be an ally of this super woman.

I find Victoria to be a thorough-bred finance professional, level-headed with calm disposition.. She is a personable, active senior member (a Fellow) of ACCA and it wasn’t a surprise to me or any other member that she won the ACCA Advocate of the year Award for Nigeria and went on to win the same Award for Africa in 2019. She has used her reign as the Advocate of the Year as well as the Convener ACCA Women Network Nigeria to positively influence and support, guide, mentor and shape the future for other finance professional women. With her leadership skills, she continues to use both platforms to inspire and empower a lot of ACCA members.

Victoria is a visionary and entrepreneur! Since her return to Africa in the last decade, she has contributed to the development of the Nigerian economy in her role as Deputy CFO at a renowned Broadcast/ Media company and played a significant role (as an entrepreneur) in the payment card industry by championing innovation, exceptional customer delivery and customisation. I work with Victoria in developing the accounting profession in Africa. She has consistently looked for ways to give back to her community in Nigeria culminating in her election as ACCA advocate of the year in Nigeria and Africa. She supports the development of women leaders and founded (and acts as Chair of) The ACCA Women Network in Nigeria.

I call her boss mi but she insists on VAA. We had a chance meeting February 2020 and it was at a conference. From the moment we met while waiting for the conference to start, we immediately connected on a professional level. And since then, it’s been a privilege to be in Victoria’s network and for her to be within my circle of influence as well. VAA is always ready to bring fresh perspectives to every conversation. She might not be the first person to speak, most times the last, but when she does, you‘ll quickly see the reason she kept quiet for a while, before bringing her perspectives to bear. It is always an ah-mazing pleasure to work with Victoria and I am delighted to continue to work with her and to walk with her on this journey towards greatness! VAA, keep doing great stuff!

I worked closely with Victoria during a transformational agenda at our company with the sole objective of making it a great place to work. Her commitment, passion, and dedication for the job at hand were second to none. An egalitarian at heart, she is a strong advocate for empowering women, particularly in the workplace. Mrs. Ajayi is someone I admire a great deal. I worked directly with her for about two years and she has been my mentor since then. She maintains both a friendly and professional demeanour, and does not hesitate to share criticism (always in a constructive manner). She has helped me grow, both as a professional and as a human being. She pushes me to give more than my best at all times. Praises for a job well done, encourages me for my accomplishments. She leads by example and she is a positive force in the workplace. She is someone with great insight, top-notch problem-solving and possesses leadership skills that are worth emulating. From the time I met her, my professional working life has drastically improved. The best moments of my career are the ones I have spent working with her.
