The Nigeria I See
In my lifetime, Nigeria will take its rightful place as the giant of Africa not just as a rhetoric but in all ramifications, stand tall!
- The Nigeria I see is one in which education is commonplace and affordable with zero tolerance for strike actions. Where schools of excellence are built, minds are shaped & innovation embraced.
- The Nigeria I see is one where healthcare is accessible. Where hospitals have emergency rooms comparable to the rest of the world, providing the best care in all of Africa and doctors and nurses with refined skills are saving lives, leaving no one behind.
- The Nigeria I see is one where cost of governance is equitable and transparent for all to see. Where law makers are incentivised only on bills passed, focused on guiding the land. The political structure, inclusive and fair, with good governance, a pillar strong and grand.
- The Nigeria I see is one where we have servant leaders, accountable for every decision, action & inaction. Where duplication of government agencies are a thing of the past & corruption is annihilated at last. Capable hands serving the people, their burdens to bear. Where leaders of integrity entrusted with care, build the nation with strength and grace.

- The Nigeria I see is one where citizens flock back to their homeland and talent is no longer lost to foreign countries. Where citizens will be treated with respect, dignity and admiration at its own embassies, let alone foreign consulates.
- The Nigeria I see is one where justice reigns supreme. Where peace and fairness prevail, and equal opportunities at the helm. Rule of law, a solid foundation, Justice and freedom, the pillars of this nation.
- The Nigeria I see is one where culture is celebrated & cultural heritage is etched within every heart. Where through history, music, media, arts, entertainment & sports, a tapestry of unity is forged & boundaries are erased. Our airports and tourist centres a delight, the richness of our diversity & festivals celebrated in glee.
- The Nigeria I see is one where technology thrives & connectivity is widespread. Where ideas are ignited at innovation centres and entrepreneurs soar, reaching unimaginable heights.

- The Nigeria I see is one where environmental sustainability is prioritised and the future is not only green but clean. Where nature's bouquet is preserved with green landscapes, and solar panels glisten, harnessing the sun's ray and renewable energy powers every pavilion.
- The Nigeria I see is one where solid infrastructure and amenities like clean water flows, quenching thirsts. Where power supply is as constant as day & night & affordable housing is no longer a dream but within reach. Where road, rail, water & other forms of transportation are well thought out, effective and always on time, connecting states across the nation & progress never delayed.
- The Nigeria I see is beyond our oil's riches, where our natural resources creates wealth for all. Where the resource curse is broken, and our minerals and gems are the most sought-after commodities globally.
- The Nigeria I see is one where our agriculture sufficiently feeds the nation. Where mechanised farming meets empowered farmers to produce bountiful harvests that brings about food security for all.

- The Nigeria I see is one where security and safety of its inhabitants are topmost priority for the defence authorities. Where uniformed personnel are not oppressors instead become trusted advisors & guardians. Where the decimation of banditry & terrorism are historical occurrences taught to our children & grandchildren.
- The Nigeria I see is one where financial inclusion is no longer taken for granted and access to funding is prevalent. Where ease of doing business is like ABC, and mortgages are single digits with a mature credit market. Where Unicorns abound & IPOs overflow and mortgages & loans are single digits.
- The Nigeria I see is one where women & youths will no longer agitate to lead. Where inclusivity reigns with capable hands and minds replete in all institutions, far & wide. Where equality and rights are for all, not some. Where the knowledge economy and human capital is mined to full extent.
- The Nigeria I see is one where economic development is our mantra & investment is rife. Where we do not rely on foreign aid and all the macro-economic indices are positive and on an upward trajectory. Where the Naira will once again be a strong currency & the Dutch disease we will experience no more. Where industries thrive & employment expands, creating opportunities for the nation to flourish.
